Psychological thriller Replicas has kicked off production in Vancouver.
At the helm is Jeremy Power Regimbal, directing his first feature film, starring Selma Blair (Hellboy), Josh Close (The Pacific), James D’Arcy (W.E.) and Rachel Miner (Bully), which explores the dark side of the American dream.
Regimbal’s partner at Canuck prodco The Studio Movement Justin Tyler Close is on board as producer. The two penned the story with Josh Close and are working in collaboration with executive producers Tina Pehme and Kim Roberts of Vancouver’s Sepia Films (A Shine of Rainbows, Partition).
Other partners on board are KinoSmith, Stealth Media Group, Telefilm and Vancouver-based The Lab Magazine, of which Close and Regimbal are co-founders.
